VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT

I,                                                       (name) offer to take on the following Saint Augustine Film Festival volunteer role/s (check all that apply), and – upon assignment by SAFF volunteer coordinators to a role or roles – to abide by the following rules that correspond to the respective role(s):

• Ask local business establishments within a mutual agreed upon geographical region to put up Saint Augustine Film Festival posters, flyers and post cards

• Ask local business establishments who within the business would be the appropriate person to contact about a possible donation to the SAFF Silent/Online Auction

• Forward the contact’s name, telephone and/or email address to SAFFAuction@gmail.com email

• Solicit silent/online auction donations from local business establishments

• Complete the Online Auction Donation form found at: https://www.staugfilmfest.com/oaform (using the password SAFF2026 to access the form), for the festival’s use in tracking donations and following up to thank donors

• Provide a minimum total of 8 hours of theater ushering services throughout the festival according to the mutually agreed upon forthcoming (by mid-December) schedule designated by SAFF 

• Arrive on-time to all shifts

• Wear the volunteer T-shirt and badge provided to me at ALL shifts

• Not to participate in self-promotion nor in any other conduct that would jeopardize the reputation the Saint Augustine Film Festival

• Not to eat during any scheduled shift (please let us know if you have any health concerns)

 

Also, I understand that:

• My volunteer badge is NOT TRANSFERABLE and allowing someone else to use my badge to receive benefits will result in the immediate revocation of my schedule, badge, privileges, and future opportunities with the St Augustine Film Festival.

• Consumption of alcohol, illegal drugs, or participation in any illegal conduct is unacceptable during any shift for which I am volunteering. Such behavior could be grounds for the immediate revocation of my schedule, badge, privileges, and future opportunities with the St Augustine Film Festival.

• If, under extenuating circumstances (i.e., illness, family emergency), I am unable to work my scheduled shift, I will contact a Volunteer Coordinator, or Venue Manager, with 24 hours advance notice or as soon as possible before I am scheduled.  Failure to do so could jeopardize my future with the St Augustine Film Festival.

• The St Augustine Film Festival is not responsible for lost or stolen articles during the festival. 

 

I understand that my volunteer role will be assigned to me by a SAFF volunteer coordinator. I also understand that as a volunteer in compliance with my role and a commitment to providing a minimum of eight of service throughout the film festival, I am entitled to free admission to films showing at the Lewis theatre only, and only when I am not performing any volunteer duties. Failure to meet these requirements could result in loss of my volunteer privileges. 

 

Finally, I agree to conduct myself in a professional and courteous manner and to wear the SAFF t-shirt provided to me (please indicate your t-shirt size: ______ (Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, 2X Large, 3X Large or 4X Large) at all times while representing the Saint Augustine Film Festival.
