The director contacted me about 11 years ago after seeing a story about my career on tv. He wanted to meet me for coffee. He wanted to know how I became a professional dancer. My reaction first was to be very surprised. Obviously its something nice. But I wasn't realizing my journey could become an actual film. In fact in the beginning, I didn't really believe it. I just thought someone was wishing that perhaps they could convince someone to do a film about me.

Sold at the Cannes Film Festival to various countries from Distributor Radiant Films International. Based on an incredible true story for the dreamer in all of us about Mary Reynolds and Christy Collard. Starring Emma Greenwell and Tom Hughes. Directed by Vivienne de Courcy.

We were introduced to Buddy by our agent at the time, Barry Perelman, who had recently signed the dog. Buddy had been dazzling crowds with his basket-shooting antics at NBA halftime shows and was David Letterman’s favorite Stupid Pet Trick at the time. Barry encouraged us to write a spec script about “Air Bud” (his professional name), and we saw the potential for a great boy-and-dog story.
